The Clerical Abuse Response Team (CART) is a group of concerned parishioners at St. Elizabeth Parish in Chester Springs, Pa, who have been moved to take deliberate action in the wake of the on-going clerical abuse sex scandal within the Catholic Church. This group is not a ministry of St. Elizabeth Parish – it exists outside of it.
The coordinating committee is Ellen Crowley, Liam Dempsey, Joe Howard, and Patty Mullen-Smith.
To learn more about this group and to get involved, please contact us via the form on our contact page.
As a group, we have agreed upon the following purpose for this group:
Coordinate an ongoing response to the Catholic clerical abuse scandal, work to ensure the voice of our parishioners is heard by Diocesan leaders, and help the healing within our own parish, including supporting our parishioners to reach back to the basic tenets of our faith.
